Our Hands, Our Mouths - Poverty and Resistance
Debt Justice survey reveals record 6.7 million Britons in financial distress due to Conservative austerity. Writing on the Wall (WOW) and the Poverty Research & Advocacy Network (PRAN) organize event addressing UK's cost-of-living crisis and unprecedented poverty levels.
Media Engagement for Social Impact Workshop
The media shapes public perceptions of crises, often blaming individuals instead of addressing structural issues. Our workshop teaches participants to craft counter-narratives and engage effectively with media to change perceptions of poverty and inequality.
Community-Centred Outreach and Participation
The workshop will be led by Aidan Jolly of Collective Encounters Theatre for Social Change and will feature Jonathon Prasad from the Global Race Centre for Equality (GRACE) and the Migrant Women’s Drama Group from 4Wings.
